Head of Procurement & Partner Engagement

Location: Remote with occasional commuting to Exeter Head Office

We are seeking a highly experienced vehicle leasing professional with a strong commercial mindset, deep market knowledge, and an established industry network to join us in a senior, high-impact role. This role will lead Carparison's tactical procurement activity, deepening and growing relationships with dealerships, leasing companies, and OEM partners on a longer-term, strategic level.

What you'll do:

The Head of Procurement & Partner Engagement will act as a credible brand ambassador, attending manufacturer and industry events, influencing key stakeholders and securing the best possible value for Carparison's customers. This is a remote role with occasional visits to our Exeter office.

• Source new supplier relationships and grow them organically through transparent and clear communication, gaining trust to secure exclusive pricing opportunities.
• Have regular interaction with the management team and communicate clearly to discuss offerings and most viable routes to market.
• Develop in depth understanding of the funder systems to find the most attractive market position
• Develop relationships with funders to generate faith in the Carparison brand when it comes to commitment opportunities.
• Lead tactical procurement activity, identifying and securing the best deals in the market and understanding what constitutes genuine value for Carparison's customers both consumer and SME.
• Attend manufacturer launches, industry events and fleet exhibitions to build Carparison's profile and stay ahead of market developments.
• Influence and engage key stakeholders at dealerships, leasing companies and OEMs to negotiate preferential terms, exclusive stock opportunities and enhanced commercial arrangements.
• Understand how to structure and construct compelling deals, combining manufacturer support, funder programmes and dealer contributions to maximise customer value.
• Focuses on deepening partner relationships at a strategic level, moving beyond transactional engagement to build long-term, mutually beneficial commercial partnerships.

What we're looking for:

• High level of computer skills including Microsoft office software (Excel and Word)
• Must be accurate and show attention to detail whilst working under pressure
• Will be extremely number literate with the ability to locate and execute actions surrounding competitive offers
• Preferably will have worked in the fleet sector with an established network of contacts across dealerships, leasing companies and OEMs
• Excellent knowledge of the vehicle leasing market.
• Confident and personable communicator, comfortable representing the business at manufacturer events, industry exhibitions and senior stakeholder meetings
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment, managing own diary and travel commitments
