We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our department in Hammerfest. As a Project Manager, you will be a key resource in ensuring your team performs at its best. The role can also be combined with other possible roles at the office.

About the position

You will manage and lead projects within the exciting project portfolio in Hammerfest. This includes responsibility for requirements and objectives related to HSE performance, work environment, milestones, and customer satisfaction. You will be an important link between employees and customers, ensuring effective and efficient communication between all parties.

Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Responsible for delivering projects in accordance with time, cost, and quality as defined in the project scope
  • Responsible for internal and external status reporting, as well as contributing to optimal portfolio management and resource utilization
  • Reporting to the Site Manager on status, opportunities, and potential risk areas
  • Contribute to ensuring the organization has the necessary knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and procedures required for project execution
  • Delegate work to project personnel in order to encourage individual responsibility
  • Actively guide and motivate your team to help each individual perform at their best

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in engineering
  • Relevant experience as a Project Manager or in other leadership roles
  • Knowledge of and experience from the oil and gas industry is an advantage, but not a requirement

  • Strong communication skills in Norwegian, both written and spoken
  • Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Multidisciplinary and commercial understanding
  • Systematic and detail-oriented working methodology
  • High commitment to deadlines and quality
  • Ability to seek advice and share knowledge
