The role

Normec is expanding rapidly, and HR is evolving alongside it. Not everything is set in stone yet- and that's part of the appeal. The path is clear: ensure that our people, structures, and processes are aligned with our ambitions.

In this role, you report directly to the CHRO and work closely with HR and business leaders across our business lines. Your day-to-day will be broad and varied: managing projects within the area of Learning & Development, onboarding and talent management and overseeing new initiatives. You are both the thinker and the doer.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of HR-related projects and drive them forward in a practical, results-oriented way.
  • Work closely with our HR Directors of the business lines and teams across the business to keep initiatives moving.
  • Keep an eye on planning and priorities, making sure things stay on track (and adjusting when needed).
  • Gather input from stakeholders and translate it into clear, workable actions.
  • Collaborate internal with internal with our ESG- and marketing department and external partners and vendors.
  • Jump in where needed to support execution, from planning to hands-on delivery.
  • Help implement and improve HR processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Balance structure with flexibility - knowing when to plan and when to just get things done.

Your profile
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within an international and multi-site environment.
  • Experience working on HR-related topics.
  • Proven experience in leading or contributing to projects within an international HR context.
  • Strong strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
  • Brings structure and clarity, with a strong preference for well-organized ways of working.
  • Able to set clear priorities; decisive and results-oriented.
  • Solution-oriented thinker with a proactive mindset.
  • Effective stakeholder manager with a structured and professional approach.
  • Fluent in Dutch, with strong communication skills in English, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment.

Your new workplace

You'll be part of the Group HR team. The current team consists of the CHRO, HR Officer and Group Recruitment Manager. You will also work closely with our ESG department and Internal Communications professional, who is part of the central Marketing team. The team works mostly from our office in Amsterdam and is every Tuesday in our Utrecht office.

We work in a hybrid setup and have a pragmatic, collaborative culture. Our focus is on quality, ownership, and continuous improvement. In this role, your work will directly support Normec's buy-and-build strategy.
