ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our dynamic projects in the Information Technology and Services industry. As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, aligning with business goals, and managing resources efficiently. You will be based in Qatar and will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.

• Follow up on the procurement plan and prepare a detailed work schedule for each project, in addition to project timelines and progress reports.
• Provide management with all project updates promptly when requested, along with periodic updated reports (weekly/monthly) for all or specific projects.
• Prepare quarterly administrative reports for management regarding procurement plans and the status of each project, including setting performance indicators, evaluating project status and deviations, and providing feedback, observations, and development recommendations to improve project management.
• Prepare data tables, plans, charts, and diagrams that illustrate workflow and project progress.
• Ensure that all projects start on time or ahead of the planned schedule.
• Monitor and ensure that all tasks within the team are being executed efficiently and effectively.
• Assist in conducting market research, collecting data, and performing comparisons.
• Standardize follow-up processes and procedures into unified, clear, and high-quality templates, incorporating smart tools, and present them to management for team utilization.
• Establish and organize procedures for creating timelines, tracking project progress, and scheduling.
• Transfer this knowledge and train the specialized team on project management mechanisms, ensuring best practices are followed. Present outcomes to management through a well-organized team specialized in reporting and project management.

Required Profile

To become an ideal candidate for the Project Manager position at ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar, you should have relevant professional experience along with the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in administrative or business fields (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or any related field).
• Minimum 5-7 years of solid experience in managing projects from scratch, including report preparation and presentations.
• Knowledge of state financial regulations, especially tendering and procurement laws and their executive regulations.
• Holds a Project Management certification such as PMP or Prince2.
• Having any of the following certifications is an added advantage: Professional certifications in procurement Planning certifications (CPE or AICP)
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
• Previous experience handling multiple tasks under pressure or tight deadlines.
• Preferably experience in:
  • Government procurement cycle
  • Financial analysis
  • Feasibility studies
  • Market research
  • Economic studies
  • Budgeting
  • Change management
• Previous consulting experience or experience in the government / semi-government sector is a plus.
• Strong on-the-job training skills and effective knowledge transfer.
• Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and professional presentation tools.
• Excellent communication skills (spoken & written Arabic) is mandatory, with good English proficiency.
• Strong report-writing skills with the ability to document situations, phases, challenges, and organizational issues clearly, presenting data in structured reports with clear communication and recommendations.
• Native Arabic (spoken and written), Good command of English (reading, writing, speaking).
