Your role at a glance
As the Campus Construction Project Manager, you will report directly to the Construction Director and be accountable for leading and managing a team of internal and external stakeholders to deliver Hyperscale Data Centre construction. The position requires a self-motivated, construction leader who will be a key leader delivering industry leading Data Centre construction / infrastructure.

You will be predominately site base at our PAR1 site in Le Coudray Montceaux, France.

What we are looking for

What will you do?

• Develop and foster a strong sense of ownership within the campus delivery team and NTT GDC peer stakeholders to drive and maintain industry best practice standards across the campus
• Collaborate with peers in the NTT EHS and Security Organization to implement industry best practice Health, Safety and Security standards onsite
• Coach, measure and manage NTTs appointed professional services and General/Sub-Contractor teams to ensure consistency in delivery against these standards. Ensure appropriate and demand-oriented project sourcing during the delivery and value for money when appointing professional services
• Govern, measure and if required correct project performance against key performance indicators and commitments across Safety, Schedule, Quality and Cost targets
• Manage the coordination between multiple General Contractors, OFCI vendors, Operations, utility providers, 3rd party works and the public where necessary
• Collaborate with peers in Procurement and Pre-Construction in the tendering and selection of delivery partners. Review scopes of work, tender documents, tender returns, and tender evaluations
• Drive close stakeholder alignment with the Commercial, Operations and Commissioning Teams, creating a positive and transparent working environment
• Collaborate with peers in Design and Engineering to ensure NTTs regulatory and permitting requirements are clearly defined, planned, and executed on
• Perform general Construction management tasks, including but not limited to Project, Cost and change management meetings, controls, and reporting
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of project status to the Campus Construction Director and wider business.
• Clearly outline, define and execute construction methodologies from inception to handover on site, continuously seeking and implementing opportunities to learn and improve the end-to-end delivery inc. holding effective project reviews during or post-delivery to ensure lessons learned are captured and addressed

What are we looking for?

• Experience in a site-based construction management role within the construction industry, overseeing a portfolio of concurrent capex projects
• Extensive experience in the planning and delivery of large capex and client fit-out projects, utilizing varying delivery methods (Management Contracting, Traditional, D&B) and forms of contract (ie. FIDIC, JCT)
• Demonstratable Data Centre construction experience
• Possess excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to navigate complex and high-pressure environments
• Experience in presenting to senior leadership both internally and within our Clients' Teams
• Experience in managing and developing direct and vendor teams
• Excellent project management experience and skillset, with the ability to operate within a multi-cultural environment
• Proficient in the use of project and commercial management tools and processes
• Excellent communication skills in French and solid business English skills
