Do you want to lead exciting projects in a live data centre environment?

Vaultica is looking for a structured and driven Project Manager for our Oslo office. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading and following up projects related to the operation, maintenance and further development of critical data centre infrastructure.

You will be a key link between operations, vendors, customers and other stakeholders, helping ensure safe and efficient project execution in an environment with high demands for quality, security and uptime.

The role reports to the EMEA Operations Projects Director.

About the role

As Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering and following up a wide range of Operations-related projects. These may include:

• maintenance projects
• efficiency improvement projects
• on-site modifications and upgrades
• customer-related projects
• development of operational systems
• activities related to the company's expansion plans

This is a role for someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives on creating structure and momentum, and can coordinate across different teams and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• plan and execute projects from initiation to handover
• ensure good coordination between operations, customers, vendors and other stakeholders
• manage budgets, cost follow-up and forecasting
• track progress, milestones and deviations
• coordinate resources and ensure efficient project execution
• follow up vendors and contractors
• ensure compliance with internal processes, HSE requirements and relevant regulations
• contribute to clear reporting to management and relevant steering forums
• help develop strong ways of working and productive vendor relationships

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with strong project management skills, and who can bring people and activities together effectively.

We believe you have:

• a bachelor's degree in project management and/or a technical/engineering background
• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager or in a similar role
• experience defining scope and managing progress, cost and deliverables
• solid technical understanding and the ability to work with complex issues
• strong communication skills and the ability to work well with technicians, customers, vendors and management
• a structured, solution-oriented and positive approach
• fluency in English and a Scandinavian language

Travel to other countries in Europe may be required, for example in connection with conferences, training and support for other Vaultica data centres.

We offer a hybrid working model, but you are expected to be sufficiently present where you have active project responsibility in order to follow up activities effectively.
