You will set up, lead, and manage several large projects within a defined scope, ensuring that project results are delivered in accordance with agreed objectives, requirements, and criteria, in an efficient manner and in line with TenneT standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing project plans, aligning plans and budgets with the client, translating the project plan into execution and project control plans, and establishing the project organisation
• Performing overall project management and reviewing, assessing, and accepting deliverables from suppliers and consultants
• Managing and coaching project team members (site managers, planners, and engineers) and external resources, and resolving organisational and technical issues
• Directing work package owners to ensure the entire project is delivered in accordance with plan
• Preparing decision documents, evaluations, and reports, and ensuring compliance with quality, occupational health & safety (HSE), and environmental requirements
• Providing progress and performance reports to the client
• Coordinating and managing project matters with internal and external stakeholders, including other TenneT business units, regional grid operators, authorities, permitting bodies, companies, and private parties

What Do You Bring?

• HBO / Master's level of working and thinking, with at least a completed HBO degree
• At least 5 years of recent experience successfully leading very large and complex (electro-)technical and/or infrastructure projects, preferably within the energy sector
• Extensive experience with project-based working according to PRINCE2
• Significant experience with various contract forms; demonstrable knowledge and experience with UAV-GC contracts and Systems-Oriented Contract Management (SCB) is a strong advantage
• Experience on both the contractor and client side is an asset
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to organise and (ensure) effective planning of activities
• Recognised by others as professional, environmentally aware, decisive, and independent
• Excellent command of Dutch and good command of English, both written and spoken
