We are currently recruiting for a Store Construction Project Manager to sit within the European team, based in our Paris office. You will be reporting into the Head of Store Construction, working cross functionally with store design, store development and maintenance teams, as well as managing third party suppliers, across all markets.
You will be responsible for managing the project execution though all phases, from giving inputs on projects' feasibility through handover to the store management team. The role offers travel across Europe, which is dependent on the projects you are responsible for managing at one time.

We are currently recruiting for a Store Construction Project Manager to sit within the European team, based in our Paris office. You will be reporting into the Head of Store Construction, working cross functionally with store design, store development and maintenance teams, as well as managing third party suppliers, across all markets.
You will be responsible for managing the project execution though all phases, from giving inputs on projects' feasibility through handover to the store management team. The role offers travel across Europe, which is dependent on the projects you are responsible for managing at one time.
What you will be responsible for:
- Conducting regularly visit store sites and work together with Store Design team and local architects to solve issues, monitor progress of the construction and check quality of execution
- Following closely the budget of each project, manage the variations to remain within budget and report regularly to the team manager
- Creating budgeting and schedule for the project in the development phase. Support Design and Store Development teams to identify the scope of work and handover conditions
- Supporting design team to identify necessary local code requirements and necessary documents for permitting
- Leading bidding process, selection and management of general contractors and suppliers
- Selecting, propose, qualify, and procure all design elements and owner furnished materials of the store design concept. Developing a mix of suppliers that allow for the optimal tradeoffs among costs, installation and durability of materials
- Leading post-project analyses and discussions, identify opportunities and strive for continual process improvement
- Developing and submitting CAPEX budget proposals for all new stores and improvements of existing stores
- Ensuring timely approval and payment of all invoices in partnership with the Accounting department
What we are looking for:
- Degree in Project management, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, architecture or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years' experience in store construction roles, in retail/hospitality/FMCG industries or in a construction company or general contractor
- Solid understanding of flagship and standard stores requirements and experience in roll-out store implementation
- Experience working in multi-cultural environment
- Fluent in Business English is a must, both written and verbal
- Fluent in French would be advantageous
- Knowledge of Excel is a must and Autocad is a plus
- Ability to travel to multiple EU cities each week
- Ability to work in teams but also independently
- Ability to manage multiple projects at varying advancement stages simultaneously and deliver on time, in full and within budget despite aggressive schedules
