About Layer Systems

Layer Systems is a high-growth UK-based technology company. Our product, The Layer, is a hosted B2B business management SaaS platform designed for telecoms and IT resellers.

We have a loyal and growing customer base, a mature and feature-rich platform, and ambitious plans for future growth. Our mission is to build the most user-friendly, innovative, and market-relevant software by working closely with our customers and leveraging the latest technologies.

We are a collaborative, inclusive, and remote-first organisation where everyone has a voice and is encouraged to contribute.

We have also been shortlisted for the 'Workplace Award' at the 2026 Comms Business Awards due to be held in July and won the 'Best Software Application' award at the 2025 Comms National Awards

The Role

We are looking for a highly organised, conscientious and experienced Project Manager.

You will work as part of our project team on the planning, documenting and provisioning of new customers onto The Layer. You will take full ownership of your projects, managing each one from initial contact through to post-launch handover.

You will enjoy bringing stakeholders together, setting milestones, and ensuring that every task is documented and progressed in a timely way. You will communicate progress clearly to both customers and internal teams, create training agendas, deliver run-through sessions prior to launch, and manage any post-launch issues through to resolution.

To succeed in this role, you will have excellent time management and communication skills. This role would suit an experienced project manager, though we are also happy to consider applications from non-certified administrators with relevant experience.

How You'll Work
• You will work autonomously within a supportive, collaborative environment
• You will be trusted to manage your workload and priorities without micromanagement
• You will participate in a cross-functional project and product team
• You will engage regularly with customers and internal stakeholders
• You will work remotely, with regular team meet-ups in Glasgow
• Occasional UK travel and overnight stays may be required

We support family-friendly policies and aim to accommodate individual working patterns wherever possible.
