About the Role

About the Role

The post holder will be joining the Centre for Preventive Neurology at the Wolfson Institute of Population Health, Queen Mary University of London and will work within the Parkinson`s disease (PD) group.

The Project Manager will oversee the management all aspects of our Parkinson's Clinical Cohorts Collaborative (PC3), which brings together multiple UK Parkinson's research studies into a single large dataset comprised of control, prodromal and Parkinson's participants.

About You

Candidates must be educated to a good undergraduate degree and a post graduate degree or equivalent professional experience. Key responsibilities will be to manage all aspects for the project, including managing budgets and contracts. Strong project management experience and skills are essential.

About the School/Department/Institute/Project

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) is an exciting and dynamic environment, home to more than 450 staff, 100 PhD students and c500 postgraduate taught students. It harnesses expertise across a wide range of population-based research and education activities and aims to be an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health, primary care and preventive medicine. The Institute is organised into six separate research centres which, though complementary and following the Institute strategic plan, also have Centre-specific objectives and requirements.

The Centre for Preventive Neurology is at the forefront of international research and brings together an expert team to carry out revolutionary new research into Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson's disease. The centre's focus is on academic discipline, research, the translation of research into health strategies and their practical implementation.
