Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager - Fit Out to lead the fit-out delivery of high-rise projects in Qatar.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in a Senior Project Manager role, with a strong track record in managing fit-out delivery, testing and commissioning, snagging, handover, and project close-out on high-rise PMC projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the fit-out phase of high-rise projects from planning through to handover
• Oversee fit-out execution to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
• Manage project scope, programme, cost, and risk while ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives
• Coordinate and lead the project team, including contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and support staff
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates, financial control, and reporting
• Ensure fit-out works are properly coordinated with all disciplines and completed in line with project delivery processes
• Review and manage contractor performance, shop drawings, material approvals, mock-ups, and installation quality
• Lead testing, commissioning, snagging, handover, and close-out activities related to fit-out packages
• Support resolution of site issues, commercial matters, claims, and interface challenges during the fit-out stage
• Ensure robust project plans, look-aheads, and forecasts are prepared and regularly updated

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• PMP certification or membership of an equivalent professional institution
• 20+ years of experience in project management/construction management, with strong experience in fit-out delivery
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager leading high-end fit-out packages on complex high-rise or large-scale building projects
• Strong knowledge of fit-out coordination, finishing trades, testing and commissioning, snagging, and handover processes
• Experience managing contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams through the fit-out stage
• Demonstrable understanding of commercial management, claims, and project close-out requirements
• Experience using modern project delivery and coordination tools, including BIM
• International consultancy experience, with at least 5 years in the Middle East preferred
• Strong ability to manage technical and delivery matters across all disciplines associated with fit-out projects
