Etihad is planning a PSS Migration in March 2023 of its reservations, ticketing, departure control, inventory, and digital environments. This will be a significant and complex undertaking. To ensure both continuity of operations, protection of revenue, and preservation of Etihad's brand, it is vital that the cutover progresses smoothly and to plan.
In order to support this major exercise Etihad is recruiting two PSS Cutover Project Managers. Reporting to the Cutover Lead the Project Managers will have responsibility for the successful compilation and execution of significant elements of the Etihad PSS Cutover Plan. These sections of plan will feed into the overall cutover plan which will be a large multi stream migration plan, consisting of several thousand lines of tasks, covering many months of preparation and rehearsal activities building up to the main cutover event and early life support.

Accountabilities
- Part of a small team that will develop, maintain, and execute assigned project plans, which will feed into the overall cutover plan.
- Lead detailed project planning workshops to reach agreement on the tasks to be undertaken
- Engage with the incumbent supplier , the new supplier and other third parties to ensure their activities are aligned and responsibilities are clear
- Proactively manage the resolution of planning choices, conflicts, and ambiguities
- Sensibly balance project risk across time, quality and cost
- Define clear project readiness stage gates with agreed entry and exit criteria
- Understand impact on daily operations factoring in peak loads and change freezes.
- Define roll-back and roll-forward contingency arrangements
Education & Experience
- Demonstrable experience of a similar role on several occasions in an airline environment
- Solid understanding of Airline systems, related technology, integrations and their applicability to the services provided and the impact of the choices being made.
- Previous experience highlighting effective stakeholder management across multiple streams, products and teams.
- Be a good communicator at all levels, across organisational and cultural boundaries, with excellent verbal and written skills (English)
- Be comfortable in working alone and taking decisions, whilst always being aware of bigger picture
