About the role

Play a key role in delivering one of the UK's most complex and high-profile nuclear construction programmes.

The SZC MEH Alliance is responsible for delivering the Mechanical, Electrical and HVAC works for Sizewell C. We're now looking for an experienced IEG Project Manager to lead the procurement and delivery of General Electrical Equipment across this nationally significant project.

The role

As IEG Project Manager, you'll take ownership of the procurement strategy and contract delivery for general electrical systems-including cables, cable trays, supports and associated equipment. From strategy development through to contract award and lifecycle management, you'll ensure value, consistency and performance across NEC contracts.

You'll operate in a highly integrated environment, working across the MEH Alliance, Nuclear Island and Conventional Island teams, with multiple stakeholders and interfaces to manage.

What you'll be doing

What you'll be doing
  • Leading procurement strategies for general electrical systems and bulk materials
  • Preparing ITT and NEC contract packs, supporting negotiations and contract award
  • Managing NEC contracts through their full lifecycle
  • Ensuring consistency and value through replication of proven strategies (including HPC)
  • Coordinating multiple stakeholders across disciplines and programmes
  • Supporting delivery objectives within a complex, regulated nuclear environment
Who we're looking for

What we're looking for
  • Proven delivery experience in a highly regulated or high-hazard environment
  • Strong background in NEC contract development and management
  • Experience managing major contractors and complex supply chains
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams
  • Electrical systems knowledge (bulk materials experience desirable)
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally Europe
