As a Project Manager (m/f/d) for Global Product Industrialization & Transfers, you will assume end-to-end responsibility for projects - from the evaluation phase to successful completion. You will work closely with global and local stakeholders and navigate a matrix organization with ease.
Your workplace will be at one of our production sites, either in Sallanches (France) or Shanghai (China), to ensure effective project implementation.
Your responsibilities:
  • Managing projects with full project responsibility from the evaluation phase to project completion
  • Motivating, supporting, leading, and coordinating global and local project teams within a matrix organization to optimize project execution
  • Identifying project risks, managing preventative measures, and contributing to continuous improvement
  • Creating and monitoring the global project schedule, managing the budget, defining objectives, and setting KPIs
  • Defining the implementation/manufacturing strategy in accordance with the global strategy and global engineering recommendations
  • Ensuring and coordinating a preliminary feasibility study to optimize Design for Manufacturing/Quality
  • Handing over the project from global management to the local team for execution and ensuring successful project completion by monitoring the effectiveness of the implemented solution
  • Defining the transfer scope based on the corporate strategy and global engineering specifications
  • Consolidating feasibility studies with various stakeholders
  • Creating and implementing a detailed transfer plan
  • Supporting and monitoring successful implementation in accordance with defined objectives (cost, quality) etc.)
  • Proactively submitting suggestions to ensure optimized processes at the target location

Your profile:
  • Master's degree in engineering with a focus on production/manufacturing technology or comparable qualification
  • Proven experience in project management as well as knowledge of production processes and requirements in an industrial environment
  • Experience in medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry, or other highly regulated sectors
  • Knowledge of problem-solving and process optimization methods and tools (e.g., Lean Manufacturing)
  • Fluent English skills, additional languages are an advantage
