We are seeking three experienced Project Managers to establish a Programme Management Team that will support the transformation of a large, complex fare revenue collection system within the transport sector. These roles will be responsible for managing key elements of the Entry (Mobilisation, Transition, and Transformation planning), ensuring alignment across multiple workstreams, client, stakeholders, and incumbent supplier. The Project Managers will play a critical role in driving delivery readiness, reporting, managing risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies and support, ensuring the programme is positioned for a successful transition into service delivery.

Key duties include:
  • Lead and manage delivery of specific workstreams and service groups, ensuring alignment with programme objectives and milestones.
  • Support the development, coordination, and governance of the Baseline Entry Plan.
  • Drive Entry activities, ensuring outputs are complete, validated, and aligned across all workstreams, client and stakeholders.
  • Track, manage and report risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring clear articulation of impact and mitigation.
  • Ensure readiness for transition, including resource planning, knowledge transfer, tooling, and service processes.
  • Support programme governance, including reporting to governance and other forums.
  • Provide regular status (weekly and monthly) reporting, including progress, risks, and key decisions required.
  • Work closely with Planning, Commercial, Technical, and Service teams to ensure integrated delivery.
  • Support change control and impact assessment for any adjustments to scope, sequencing, or timelines.
  • Ensure alignment with contractual obligations, milestones, and client expectations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, IT, Business, or related discipline
  • Minimum 8-12 years' experience in project/programme management within large-scale IT, infrastructure, or transport programmes
  • Proven experience in complex transition, mobilisation, or service transformation programmes
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, risk management, and delivery frameworks
  • Experience managing multi-stakeholder environments, including clients and third-party suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to manage dependencies across multiple workstreams
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior-level engagement
  • Experience with structured delivery methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile or Hybrid)

Desirable Experience:
  • Experience working on large transport or rail programmes.
  • Experience working with public sector clients such as Transport Authorities.
  • Experience with system transition programmes, service transition, or large technology implementations.
  • Professional certification such as: PMP, PRINCE2, APM PMQ / Planning & Scheduling certifications
