We are looking to bring in a Project Manager to join our Project Delivery Team. The team support our education customers across our suite of platforms with various types of project including product implementation and cloud migration.
Our product portfolio includes SITS, our flagship student information system; Maytas, our specialist platform for apprenticeship and skills management; EBS, the UK's leading student information system for Further Education; and Semestry, our cloud-based timetabling and scheduling solution, along with several other additional solutions.
You will work remotely with the requirement of occasional travel when needed.
The Role
As a Project Manager, you will lead multiple new and ongoing projects from initiation through to delivery, coordinating consultant teams, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring clear alignment on objectives. You'll maintain regular communication with customers, monitor progress, address risks or unexpected challenges, and keep projects on track to deliver high-quality outcomes on schedule.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end-to-end management of new and existing projects, ensuring clear scope definition, structured planning, and effective delivery.
- Work closely with customers and internal teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with strong customer satisfaction and benefit realisation.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and other key documentation to support effective delivery and governance.
- Coordinate project resources, ensuring the right skills are allocated at the right time and proactively addressing any resourcing gaps or constraints.
- Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation to protect delivery outcomes.
- Ensure all projects are delivered in line with agreed methodologies, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
- Participate in governance meetings, steering groups, and customer forums, providing clear and accurate updates on project progress.
- Provide key information to the Programme Manager/Programme Director (as applicable) and the Head of PMO ahead of monthly project finance reviews, including progress updates, milestone achievements, forecasts, and risk assessments.
- Submit project milestone variation requests to relevant internal stakeholders for approval prior to agreement with customers.
- Maintain strong communication channels with all stakeholders, ensuring expectations are managed and project status remains transparent throughout the lifecycle.
- Support the commercial process by identifying scope changes and ensuring they are documented, costed, and approved before implementation.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and contributing to the enhancement of project delivery processes and methodologies.
- Ensure smooth project handover to support or BAU teams, including completion of all required documentation and transition activities.
