Align Property Services is looking for a motivated and organised Assistant Project Manager to join our Project Management team and support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects across the public and private sectors.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting Project Managers in the day-to-day management and administration of live projects
• Assisting with the preparation and coordination of tender and contract documentation
• Attending project meetings, taking accurate notes, and preparing professional meeting minutes
• Managing project communications and supporting contract administration
• Working collaboratively with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal teams
• Helping ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to a high standard

What We Are Looking For

• Further education qualification i.e. college/university, or equivalent experience in construction project management or other relevant qualification.
• Either hold or be working towards a professional project management qualification: PRINCE2, APM or equivalent, or be an Associate member of, or be working towards, a related associate membership of a construction related professional body i.e. CoB, APM, CIAT etc.

• Experience assisting with construction or property-related projects
• A good understanding of industry-standard contracts (NEC and/or JCT)
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Confident written communication skills, including producing clear and accurate meeting minutes
• A proactive team player who can also work under their own initiative
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)
• Willingness to travel, with a full UK driving licence

Experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or public realm projects, and progress toward a recognised project management qualification, would be advantageous.
