Position:- Senior Project Manager

Location: Saudi Arabia
Reports To: Head of Projects
Job Duration: Long Term

Role Summary
The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, coordination, and successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure and water engineering projects. The role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered in alignment with technical, commercial, quality, safety, and schedule objectives while maintaining effective stakeholder coordination and compliance with organizational standards.
The position requires strong leadership in managing multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants, and client stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through commissioning and handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of water and infrastructure projects from concept through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and manage project execution plans, schedules, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commercial, and operational teams to ensure project alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor project performance related to cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
  • Manage contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Review and approve technical documentation, engineering deliverables, and construction methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, quality standards, and company policies.
  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans to minimize project impacts.
  • Lead project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder reporting activities.
  • Manage project changes, claims, variations, and commercial coordination activities.
  • Support procurement and tender evaluation processes related to project execution.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure all necessary permits and approvals are obtained.
  • Drive continuous improvement and implementation of project management best practices.
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and project team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure, utilities, or water-related projects.
  • Proven experience managing complex EPC and infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment, desalination, transmission, wastewater, or utility infrastructure projects.
  • Experience working in multinational or mega-project environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and stakeholder management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
