Job summary

Are you an experienced Project Manager who can drive projects from initiation through to delivery? Do you thrive in a role where organisation, communication, and continuous improvement are key?

We are looking for a Project Manager to join BPAS, reporting to the Head of Programme Management Office (PMO). In this role, you will be responsible for delivering assigned projects across the organisation, ensuring they are effectively scoped, planned, and delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.

You will work closely with stakeholders across BPAS, supporting organisational priorities through effective project delivery, governance, reporting, and change management.

The role

As Project Manager, you will manage projects from initiation through to closure, coordinating stakeholders and maintaining oversight of timelines, risks, issues, and project outcomes. You will develop and maintain project plans and supporting documentation, provide regular reporting and updates, and support effective communication across cross-functional teams.

The role will also involve supporting governance processes, facilitating project handovers, identifying lessons learned, and contributing to the continuous improvement of project delivery practices across BPAS.

This is a permanent, full time role working on a hybrid arrangement over Monday to Friday. Travel to BPAS Head Office will typically be monthly, although this will vary depending on project needs.

Main duties of the job

  • Manage assigned projects from initiation through to closure, ensuring delivery against agreed objectives, timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Define project scope, deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, risk and issue logs, highlight reports, and governance records
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, operational teams, subject matter experts, and external partners
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams to support effective project delivery and change management
  • Prepare and present project reports, dashboards, and updates to stakeholders and senior leads as required
  • Identify, monitor, and escalate project risks, issues, and dependencies appropriately, supporting continuous improvement and lessons learned activities

About You

You'll have proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle, including planning, reporting, and risk management, and be confident working with stakeholders.

Strong organisation and prioritisation skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and produce clear, accurate reporting. You'll have a sound understanding of project management principles and methodologies, or hybrid approaches.

We are also looking for:
  • Competent in Microsoft Office & tools such as MS Project
  • Recognised project management qualification (desirable)
