Lead the delivery of a critical operational technology programme and help shape the future resilience of electricity transmission.

We're looking for a passionate Optel Senior Project Manager to join our Operational Readiness - OpTel and Metering team!

The Optel Senior Project Manager play a pivotal role in delivering the OpTel Gen3 programme within Electricity Transmission. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile project, working across technical, operational and supplier teams to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

This role offers the opportunity to lead a critical programme that supports the reliability and future readiness of the electricity network. In return, you will gain broad exposure across project delivery, operations and stakeholder management while contributing to work of genuine strategic importance.

This is a variable base role and may be required to travel to other offices. We're happy to discuss any additional flexibility in working patterns or requirements that you feel could help to make this job work for you!

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of the OpTel Gen3 project from development handover through to completion.
• Manage programme performance across safety, quality, time, cost and risk.
• Work closely with suppliers, project engineers, operations teams and portfolio stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
• Provide clear governance, reporting and escalation across project activities.
• Support portfolio planning, project close-out and continuous improvement across the wider scheme portfolio.
• Promote a strong one-team culture and visible leadership across internal and external teams.

What You'll Get

Up to £77,000 dependent on experience.

As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance with on target being 15% (with a maximum of 30%) and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
