Missions
Team Leadership
As the IT Project Manager, you will lead the IT Project team and drive operational excellence across projects, security, compliance, and internal tooling.
You will foster a collaborative, autonomous, and high-performance culture while supporting the growth and development of team members through coaching, training, and clear prioritization.
You will ensure strong execution, ownership, and continuous improvement across the team's daily operations and long-term initiatives.
IT Infrastructure & Architecture
You will oversee the administration, security, and evolution of Pennylane's core IT infrastructure and SaaS ecosystem:

You will lead initiatives aimed at improving scalability, efficiency, and operational quality across the IT organization:

You will play a key role in shaping AI adoption within the Security / IT department:

You will collaborate closely with the IT Support, Security Compliance, AppSec, and FinSec teams to align processes, tooling, and operational priorities across Pennylane.
You will contribute to onboarding/offboarding processes, automation initiatives, training programs, and company-wide security practices while acting as a key stakeholder for cross-functional IT projects.

The IT Project team is part of the broader Security / IT department at Pennylane.
The team is responsible for designing, securing, and scaling Pennylane's internal IT foundations, including tooling, access management, automation, fleet management, and compliance initiatives.
The team works closely with IT Support and collaborates daily with Security Compliance, Application Security, and Finance Security teams to support a fast-growing and highly collaborative environment.
This role is critical to scaling Pennylane's IT operations while maintaining a high level of security, operational excellence, and automation across the company.

You will oversee the administration, security, and evolution of Pennylane's core IT infrastructure and SaaS ecosystem:
- Administering and securing key platforms such as Okta, Cloudflare Zero Trust, Google Workspace, and other critical SaaS tools.
- Managing Identity & Access Management processes through SSO and SCIM.
- Defining scalable governance standards for configuration, change management, and platform reliability.
- Improving resilience through monitoring, automation, and continuity-oriented practices.
Project Management & Operational Excellence
You will lead initiatives aimed at improving scalability, efficiency, and operational quality across the IT organization:
- Driving workflow optimization and automation projects.
- Managing and delivering cross-functional IT projects with clear milestones and measurable outcomes.
- Maintaining high-quality documentation and internal knowledge bases.
- Reducing operational overhead through standardization and process improvements.
AI & Innovation
You will play a key role in shaping AI adoption within the Security / IT department:
- Identifying impactful AI use cases across IT operations and workflows.
- Deploying approved AI tools while ensuring safe and responsible usage.
- Defining AI governance standards in collaboration with the internal AI committee.
- Building AI literacy through training, documentation, and operational best practices.
- Monitoring emerging AI trends, risks, and enterprise adoption patterns.
- Reducing Shadow AI usage through governance, communication, and technical controls.
Security, Compliance & Governance
You will ensure that all IT operations remain aligned with Pennylane's security and compliance standards:
- Maintaining and enforcing policies aligned with ISO 27001 and DORA requirements.
- Overseeing access reviews, security audits, and remediation tracking.
- Supporting audit preparation and compliance evidence collection.
- Promoting pragmatic security practices balancing protection, scalability, and user experience.
- Managing Shadow IT usage through clear governance and communication.
IT Fleet Management
You will oversee the management and security posture of Pennylane's IT fleet:
- Administering the Apple/macOS environment through Jamf.
- Managing device hardening, inventory accuracy, tagging, and compliance monitoring.
- Ensuring fleet security policies and updates are consistently enforced.
Vendor Management & Budget Ownership
You will manage external vendors and contribute to operational cost efficiency:
- Managing supplier relationships and service quality.
- Tracking and optimizing the IT Project budget.
- Evaluating new tools and solutions based on operational impact, risks, and scalability.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
You will collaborate closely with the IT Support, Security Compliance, AppSec, and FinSec teams to align processes, tooling, and operational priorities across Pennylane.
You will contribute to onboarding/offboarding processes, automation initiatives, training programs, and company-wide security practices while acting as a key stakeholder for cross-functional IT projects.

Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Lead/IT Project Manager, or similar role in a fast-growing SaaS or tech environment.
- Experience managing operational IT projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Previous experience leading or mentoring technical teams is a strong plus.
Technical skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SaaS administration tools such as Google Workspace, Jamf, Slack, Notion, Okta, and Cloudflare Zero Trust.
- Solid understanding of Identity & Access Management concepts, including SSO and SCIM.
- Comfortable working in Apple/macOS environments.
- Good understanding of IT security, access governance, and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, automation workflows, and enterprise AI adoption practices.
- Scripting and automation skills (Bash/Zsh, Python) are considered a strong plus.
