  • Manage the resources assigned to projects, including co-ordination and day to day task management of technical resources within the IT Directorate, external suppliers, contractors and other resources as appropriate.
  • Operate as part of a team of project, programme and portfolio management professionals - engaging in a culture of shared learning, continuous improvement and professional development.

What we are looking for:
  • A skilled negotiator and influencer - able to build and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, internal and external stakeholders and commercial / third party suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to utilise a range of channels, adapt styles to suit a variety of situations and ensure complex matters are articulated clearly.
  • Experience of working in a mature IT environment, delivering digital / data / technology change - ensuring projects are delivered in line with required timescales, costs, benefits and quality.
