You will drive project performance to meet tendered targets while bringing the energy, collaboration, and proactive service that turns head contractors into lifelong partners.Further and detailed accountabilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include:Champion the Customer Experience: Act as the primary champion for our external customers (head contractors). Ensure their expectations are not just met, but exceeded, through vibrant communication, proactive updates, and a seamless on-site delivery experience.Program & Delivery Management: Produce, maintain, and inject energy into manufacturing and delivery programs for all stakeholders, ensuring strict adherence to On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) targets.Risk & Contract Excellence: Review and assess contracts, specifications, and drawings to produce clear obligation summaries, protecting the business while ensuring we deliver precisely what the client needs.Operational & Financial Control: Partner with Production team to ensure project budgets and manufacture costs align with final estimates and monitor budgets to hit financial targets.Procurement Accuracy: Oversee the detailing and procurement of specialized, non-stock items (e.g., moulds, reinforcing, cast-in plates) to guarantee they arrive accurately and on schedule.Continuous Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in tendering and quoting, actively developing fresh, innovative ways to boost the business's bottom line and offer competitive value to our clients.About You:To thrive in this role, you will bring a sharp technical mind and a passion for people. You should possess:Civil Engineering Foundation: Qualifications in or a sound, practical understanding of civil engineering principles. (Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred) Industry Expertise: Proven experience as a Project Manager or Project Engineer within Civil Construction, Precast, Concrete, heavy manufacturing, Steel, or the broader construction industries.Commercial & Cost Savvy: Strong knowledge of estimating, tendering, and a deep understanding of manufacturing cost drivers.Contractual Acumen: In-depth knowledge of contractual matters and a high level of commercial awareness to successfully navigate complex infrastructure projects.Technical Skills: The ability to confidently read complex engineering drawings, alongside strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.Dynamic Communication: Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
