Role Summary

A Technical Data Project Manager to lead delivery of data platform modernization initiatives within a global banking environment. The role focuses on execution across data lake, data fabric, and DevOps-enabled delivery models, working closely with engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of data platform programs
• Coordinate across data engineering, architecture, DevOps, and governance teams
• Manage program plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies
• Translate business requirements into technical execution roadmaps
• Drive alignment across global stakeholders
• Ensure delivery meets regulatory and governance expectations
• Enable Agile / DevOps-based execution practices

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience in project / program management
• Banking or financial services experience (mandatory)
• Experience working on data platforms / data lakes / big data programs
• Strong stakeholder management and execution ownership
• Ability to challenge technical teams without hands-on coding

Preferred (Good to Have)

• Cloud exposure (AWS preferred, not mandatory)
• Awareness of data fabric / data mesh concepts
• Prior background in data engineering or architecture
• Exposure to regulated environments
