Position Title: Project Manager

Job Location:- Oman
Job Duration:- 20 Months

Role Purpose:
The Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of power and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with contractual, technical, quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, stakeholders, contractors, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage all phases of project execution from initiation through commissioning and handover.
  • Develop and maintain project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational readiness activities.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to ensure achievement of project objectives.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and opportunities, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, project specifications, applicable regulations, and industry standards.
  • Interface with clients, lenders, government authorities, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and approve project deliverables, reports, and documentation.
  • Oversee contract administration, change management, claims, and variation orders.
  • Ensure adherence to Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage project budgets and control costs to achieve financial targets.
  • Support project commissioning, testing, performance verification, and final project close-out activities.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant project management experience in power, utilities, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale IPP, IWPP, IWP, EPC, or similar projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in Solar PV projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Familiarity with international project delivery standards and best practices.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent are preferred.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in Solar PV Independent Power Producer (IPP) projects.
  • Experience working with international clients, EPC contractors, developers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary and multicultural project teams.
  • Familiarity with renewable energy project financing and commercial structures.
