About the Role
***INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY***
About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to support a major NIHR-funded research programme on improving the uptake of future biosimilars in the NHS. The project brings together academic, NHS, patient, community, and policy partners to better understand biosimilar deployment and develop inclusive communication, monitoring, and implementation approaches.
The postholder will coordinate day-to-day project activity across multiple workpackages, support meetings and reporting, maintain project documentation, and help deliver stakeholder engagement and dissemination activities. You will work closely with the Chief Investigator and wider research team to ensure the programme is delivered effectively, on time, and in line with governance and funder requirements.
This is a 0.5 FTE, fixed-term post, hosted within the Centre for Preventive Neurology.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience in project coordination or project management, and excellent organisational and communication skills. You should have the ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a range of stakeholders with strong attention to detail and confidence using standard office software. Desirable experience includes working on NIHR-funded or health research projects, supporting stakeholder engagement, and assisting with budget monitoring or project reporting.
About the School/Department/Institute/Project
The Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) is an exciting and dynamic environment, home to 450 staff, 100 PhD students and 500 postgraduate taught students. It harnesses expertise across a wide range of population-based research and education activities and is an internationally recognised centre of excellence in population health, primary care and preventive medicine. The postholder will be based in the Centre for Preventive Neurology (CPN). The CPN performs research across neurological diseases, including dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, and Parkinson's Disease. This includes investigating causal pathways, genetic and environmental factors; creation of novel clinical cohorts and development of new tests; working towards exploring whether simple interventions can prevent or delay disease onset.

Throughout our history, we've fostered social justice and improved lives through academic excellence. And we continue to live and breathe this spirit today, not because it's simply 'the right thing to do' but for what it helps us achieve and the intellectual brilliance it delivers.
We continue to embrace diversity of thought and opinion in everything we do, in the belief that when views collide, disciplines interact, and perspectives intersect, truly original thought takes form.
Benefits
We offer competitive salaries, access to a generous pension scheme, 30 days' leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time/fixed-term), a season ticket loan scheme and access to a comprehensive range of personal and professional development opportunities. In addition, we offer a range of work life balance and family friendly, inclusive employment policies, flexible working arrangements, and campus facilities..
Queen Mary's commitment to our diverse and inclusive community is embedded in our appointments processes. Reasonable adjustments will be made at each stage of the recruitment process for any candidate with a disability. We are open to considering applications from candidates wishing to work flexibly.
