Job Description

Oversee and lead commercial aspects of allocated projects with full joint responsibility for project performance, profitability and delivery with the Chief Engineer.

Objectives

Project Delivery:

• Meet all customer contracted requirements
• Achieve all contracted project milestone
• Manage acceptance of the project deliverables

Project Performance:

• Meet project Gross Profit targets
• Gather data and learning to improve performance of future projects

Risk Management:

• Actively manage risks that threaten project success

Responsibilities:

• Plan, monitor and adjust to acheive commercial success for the project by meeting agreed targets
• Be the main commercial Point of Contact for customer and project stakeholders
• Be the overall Commercial Authority for the project and have full responsibility for commercial decisions
• Actively manage risk and opportunities on the project and authorise contingency spend
• With the Chief Engineer plan the resource requirement for the project and demands from the business units and sub-contractors
• Oversee the commercial performance of business unites, sub-contractors and suppliers to the project
• Contribute to the overall leadership of Griffon Marine as a member of the Senior Leadership Team
• Fulfill the Griffon Marine Values and behaviours
• Report progress towards objectives
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve the overall Griffon Marine objectives

Qualifications/Experience

• 3 years Project Management experience
• APM Qualification
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisation and administration skills
• A friendly and approachable manner
• Flexible working approach
