Job Summary:

The Vice President of Process Development will be responsible for spearheading the development, optimization, and scaling of manufacturing processes for perovskite solar cells. This role demands a strategic leader with deep expertise in process engineering, materials science, and photovoltaic technology. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, enhance process efficiency, and ensure the scalability of our production systems to meet our ambitious growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive process development strategy to advance perovskite solar cell manufacturing capabilities. Collaborate with senior leadership to align process development goals with overall company objectives and market needs.
Process Optimization: Lead efforts to optimize existing manufacturing processes for perovskite solar cells, focusing on yield improvement, cost reduction, and performance enhancement. Identify and implement advanced technologies and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
Innovation and Development: Oversee the research and development of new processes, materials, and techniques to enhance the efficiency and scalability of solar cell production. Foster a culture of innovation by staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of process engineers and scientists, providing guidance and support to drive successful project outcomes. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to ensure alignment and integration of process development efforts.
Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring timely delivery of objectives and adherence to quality standards.
Quality and Compliance: Ensure all process development activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols. Implement and maintain rigorous quality control measures to uphold product excellence and reliability.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate progress, challenges, and successes to internal stakeholders, including executive management and other departments. Represent the company in external forums, conferences, and partnerships related to process development and manufacturing.

Requirements

Qualifications:
Education: Ph.D. or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in process development within the photovoltaic or semiconductor industry, with a strong track record of leadership and innovation.
Expertise: Proven expertise in Perovskite, thin film, or silicon (sufficient) solar cell technology, including materials processing, thin-film deposition, and scalability challenges.
Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills; proficiency in process modeling and simulation tools; strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
