Your role and responsibilities

In this role, Develops and deploys Toucan business commercial operations strategy and processes. Accountable to ensure operational performances, lead productivity and process improvements, and meet and exceed customer's service level expectations. Leads, develop, and coaches the related Commercial Operations team and the Commercial Operations Specialists. * Executes the inquiry to delivery of end-to-end process global strategy for the designated scope (global/regional Sales organization), implementing processes, best practices, and solutions to realize the complete process from inquiry to delivery and after-sales support. * Designs (in case of global role) or executes, the sales support, sales operations, and customer operation strategies for the designated region, in line with the global commercial operations strategy. * Implements optimization plans to improve operational excellence and customer satisfaction, alongside the inquiry-to-delivery and after-sales support processes. *Ensures the achievement of established targets, through oversight and defining improvement actions, as needed. * Focuses on the achievement of forecasting accuracy, timely and complete quote, time to book lead time, inventory turns of finished goods, customer request on-time delivery, one order-one delivery, lead time for stock and non-stock items, aging stock, wrong delivery/transportation damages, lead time for complaints resolution and closing, and percentage of digital versus manual orders. * Leads and standardizes the processes across the Inquiry-to-Order (ITO) process for the designated region/market focusing on demand creation, quotations, customers/products/commercial master data, sales policies and contracts management, strategic sales (Salesforce) adoption and data quality. * Ensures the implementation of the integrated business planning process and tools in the sales operations units (regional distribution center and/or local sales distribution warehouse) to align the demand and availability of finished goods. * Establishes, supports, and maintains inventory management processes, guidelines, and best practices across the region's sales operations units. * Ensures the finished goods inventory local governance processes are properly integrated with the supplying units. * Implements processes optimization to reduce delivery lead time and increase ITO rate. * Ensures visibility on excessive stock within the region's sales operations units and other regions. * Implements common processes and best practices for sales and operations planning and purchasing in sales operations units. * Implements, supports, and maintains planning and fulfilment processes and guidelines across sales operations units. * Ensures the accuracy of forecasting process to ABB supply units and external suppliers. * Implements common processes and best practices for logistic operations to effectively control the inbound, storage, picking, value addition, and outbound of products. * Ensures special documentation required by customers and customs are properly and efficiently managed. * Continuously monitors the third party logistic contractors' performances versus the contractual requirements and cost-efficiency targets. * Supports the region's sales operations units in defining the new third party logistic contracts and/or modification/renewal of the existing ones. * Coaches and trains the sales units in developing detailed gap analysis across the sales operations and customer support processes * Provides solution to reach expected service level at optimized inventory and costs, by utilizing the value chain and lean six-sigma assessment methods and tools. Sets up monthly operational review with Sales Operations team and customers support units.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree or above, major in Engineering , Mechanical , trade, management and related.
  • 10+ years manufacturing managerial experience in multinational companies.
  • Multiple years of related eletrification industry professional, engineering background is preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in market Intelligence, strategy thinking, implementation, business process improvement, and operational excellence. 6 Sigma Green-belt cetification or above is prefered;
  • Excellence leadership and collabration, strong problem solving skills and take responsibility to delivery result as committed.
  • Customer focus, meets expectations, internally and externally forms partnership
  • Fluent communication and presentation skill by English and Chinese
