RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides analytical support to Business Analysts and BU specific Strategists/G&D Presidents
2. Responsible for gathering, processing and analysing global and regional market data, ensuring that the organisation's strategic decisions are informed by comprehensive and accurate insights
3. Plays a crucial role in maintaining data consistency and accuracy across all regions, supporting the development of BU and sector strategies that are responsive to global market trends and local nuances.
4. By working closely with the BU Sales teams, ensure that the organisation is well-prepared to navigate the complexities of the global market environment.
5. Focuses on using the Rystad Energy portal, amongst other data sources, and will be responsible for gathering, processing, and analysing global and regional market data, ensuring that the organisation's strategic decisions are informed by comprehensive and accurate insights
6. By providing accurate and consistent data to both BU Presidents and Regional Sales teams, this role ensures that all strategic decisions are informed by robust, global insights.
7. The Business Analyst's work supports the development of strategies that are responsive to both global trends and local market conditions, enabling the organisation to navigate the complexities of the global market environment effectively.
8. The role is crucial in ensuring that the organisation's strategy is underpinned by accurate, actionable data, supporting the long-term success of the business.
9. Ensure consistency in data analysis across all regions.
10. Provide timely and effective support to regional analysts and strategists.
11. Maintain high levels of accuracy in all data processing and reporting tasks
12. Work effectively with other teams to meet deadlines and quality standards
13. Contribute to the development of effective strategies through accurate data analysis and compiling of the Rystad portal information and other sources.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Excellent working knowledge and understanding of the Energy sector
2. Ability to gather and analyse market data for the Energy sector and provide market trends and insights
3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on attitude
4. Strong academic track record in relevant education field
5. Self-motivated, proactive and independent
6. Solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Role-Specific Skills:

1. Strong administrative and organizational skills is required
2. Development of local and remote relationships across wide-ranging time zones
3. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
4. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining focus

Experience:

10-15 years of overall experience with 3-7 years of relevant experience in handling market research/insights for the Energy sector
