Location: Monterrey, NL (local candidates only)

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00-16:00

  • On-site: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Home Office: Tuesday & Thursday (non-negotiable)

    Travel: Not required

    Language Requirement: Fluent English mandatory


About the role:

We are looking for an Infrastructure Compliance Administrator to join our global IT Infrastructure team. This position plays a key role in strengthening NOV's security posture by managing patch and configuration compliance across Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux environments.

You will collaborate with global IT and Cybersecurity teams to ensure systems remain secure, compliant, and aligned with internal standards. This role also contributes to continuous improvement and automation initiatives within the patch and compliance landscape.

Key responsibilities:

  • Continuously monitor and assess patching effectiveness and compliance across Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux environments.
  • Build and maintain compliance dashboards and reports.
  • Work with system owners to remediate patching and configuration gaps, coordinate reboots, and verify remediation results.
  • Manage operating system and hardware lifecycle processes.
  • Ensure patching and configuration alignment with internal security frameworks and policies.
  • Conduct compliance audits, document findings, and support remediation activities.
  • Develop and maintain operational and configuration documentation.
  • Collaborate with Cyber Threat Intelligence teams on zero-day vulnerabilities and emerging risks.
  • Support continuous improvement and automation efforts related to compliance and patch management.


Required skills and experience:

  • 5 years in IT infrastructure or systems administration focused on patch management, configuration, and compliance.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux.
  • Familiarity with DSC, security baselines, and compliance monitoring tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional global IT and Cybersecurity teams.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
  • Fluent English required for daily communication.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Windows Server, CompTIA Security+, Flexera, etc.
  • Experience with Flexera, Tanium, or other patch/compliance automation tools.
