About the Role
Are you passionate about security compliance, system integrity, and continuous improvement?
We are looking for an Infrastructure Compliance Administrator to join NOV's global IT Infrastructure team.
In this role, you will help strengthen NOV's cybersecurity posture by managing patch and configuration compliance across Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux environments. You'll work closely with global IT and cybersecurity teams to ensure our systems are secure, compliant, and operating efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Continuously monitor and assess patching effectiveness and compliance across Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux environments.
Implement and maintain compliance monitoring dashboards and reports.
Collaborate with system owners to remediate patching and configuration gaps, perform reboots, and verify remediation results.
Manage operating system and hardware lifecycle processes in line with NOV standards.
Ensure patching and configuration practices align with NOV's Information Security Management System (ISMS).
Conduct compliance audits, document control deficiencies, and support remediation activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation for operational procedures and configurations.
Partner with the Cyber Threat Intelligence team to stay informed on zero-day vulnerabilities and emerging risks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to patch management, automation, and compliance reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems management, with a focus on patch management, configuration, and compliance.
Proficiency in PowerShell automation and scripting.
Strong understanding of Windows Server, Windows Client, and Linux operating systems.
Familiarity with Desired State Configuration (DSC), security baselines, and compliance monitoring tools.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional IT and Cybersecurity teams.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
Strong communication skills in English and ability to work in a global team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Security+, or Flexera Certification.
Experience with Flexera, Tanium, or other patch/compliance automation tools.
Location Requirement
Candidates must currently reside in Monterrey or its metropolitan area.
