This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

Reporting to Division General Counsel for Marine & Ports , you will be a member of the global Legal & Integrity team for Process Automation Marine & Ports, you will be a pro-active and strategic business partner, with a strong focus on quality, customers and the company's best interests.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Legal support and advice to Marine & Ports business division (PAMP) and function organization in all domestic and international legal aspects, across a broad range of legal issues
- Act as integrity officer for PAMP China and support legal and integrity and business colleagues on all integrity matters, working closely with the Head of Integrity, Regulatory Affairs and Data Privacy, Process Automation
- Draft, review and negotiate domestic and international contracts in particular NDAs, purchase, supply, service, frame, consortium agreements
- Provide guidance and training on the interpretation and implementation of ABB legal policies and procedures and support the business to be compliant with applicable laws and regulations as well as ABB internal policies and procedures
- Provide legal advice and manage complex dispute and litigation matters with the support of center of expertise and external law firms if required.
- Manage and participate in ABB's risk review process according to Company, Business Area and Division policies with the business team for legal and contractual issues and provide guidance as to risk management
- Integrity responsibilities include but are not limited to advising and guiding on policies and procedures in connection with gifts, travel, hospitality; donations and sponsorships; conflicts of interest; anti-trust; third party management; and trade compliance etc.
- Support the implementation of the Code of Conduct and other policies and procedures.
- Assess integrity risks associated with business opportunities and transactions and support in implementing risk mitigation strategies in accordance with the third party management procedure.
- Provide legal & integrity trainings, conduct integrity investigation and resolve any legal and integrity issues that arise.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- A Bachelor of Law from a reputable law school is required
- LLM or JD from US or other countries will be a plus
- Bar admission in China is required
- More than 10 years post-qualification experience practicing corporate law either as an associate at a reputable law firm or in a major MNC
- Strong knowledge and experience in complex integrity investigation is a plus
- Proactive & positive attitude and team spirit with strong interpersonal abilities
- Close collaboration with members of Legal & Integrity team and business teams across Business Areas and PA Divisions
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Experience in maritime and/or construction and knowledge of EPC contract and/or FIDIC contracts is preferred
- Attention to detail with excellent time management and multitasking/prioritization abilities
- Able to work autonomously and reliably under high pressure
