Role: Compliance Lead
Job Summary
As a Compliance Lead at BP business services India private limited, you will be instrumental in fostering a robust ethical culture and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. You will drive initiatives that promote compliance across the organization, using your expertise in cultural change, employee engagement, and critical thinking.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop, implement, and monitor compliance programs and policies in line with BP's strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Lead initiatives to embed a strong compliance culture across the organization, utilizing culture and behavior change methodologies and employee engagement strategies.
* Conduct detailed analytical assessments of compliance risks and trends, providing actionable insights and recommendations to leadership.
* Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate employees on compliance policies and best practices, enhancing organizational knowledge.
* Act as a key influencer and communicator, effectively articulating complex compliance matters to diverse audiences and fostering a collaborative environment.
* Manage change initiatives related to compliance, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.
* Address and manage workforce concerns related to compliance, demonstrating empathy and fair process.
* Contribute to the organizational development strategy by identifying areas for improvement in compliance frameworks and processes.
* Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking of compliance metrics.
* Actively participate in shaping the company's long-term compliance strategy.
Job Qualifications
* A university degree or its equivalent with minimum 10+ years of experience.
* Proven experience in a compliance-related role, preferably within a large, complex organization.
* Demonstrated ability to apply agility core practices to compliance initiatives, adapting to evolving regulatory landscapes.
* Exceptional analytical thinking skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key compliance risks.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
* Strong understanding of culture and behavior change principles and their application in a corporate environment.
* Customer-centric thinking with a focus on how compliance impacts internal and external stakeholders.
* Experience in designing and implementing employee engagement strategies related to compliance.
* Proficiency in facilitation techniques for leading discussions, workshops, and training sessions.
* Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Experience with leadership assessment in the context of compliance effectiveness is a plus.
* Demonstrated expertise in managing change within a corporate setting.
* Ability to effectively manage and resolve workforce concerns with discretion and fairness.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
* Familiarity with organizational development principles and their application.
* Strong organizational knowledge, or the ability to quickly acquire it, regarding bp's operations and structure.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute to and shape strategic initiatives.
