This Position reports to:
Global Trade & Transportation Manager
Your role and responsibilities
- The mission of the CTCM is to support Country management (including Global Trade Compliance Officer) in ensuring that all Local Businesses conduct their activities in line with ABB Trade policies and guidelines, as well as to drive and coordinate the local implementation of ABB`s Global Trade Program.

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Providing periodic updates to the relevant stakeholders on the status of the local implementation of ABB's Global Trade Program and significant changes in export control and customs laws/regulations.
- Implementing and maintaining a general export control and customs compliance awareness program for local business staff
- Providing regular training and awareness sessions to the local stakeholders
- Conducting local trade reviews and/or annual "self-audits" with respect to trade compliance, identifying improvement areas, and taking corrective actions.
- Serving as single point of contact for local (national) trade compliance authorities and country management
- Managing the local Customs Brokers (PoAs, SOPs, Pricing, KPI)
- Solving the current customs and export control issues, taking part in global customs projects
Qualifications for the role:
- Minimum 4 years or equivalent experience in international trade, customs brokerage or global logistics
- Capability to train and advice local business TCO's and Management on trade compliance topics and requirements including writing procedures or guidelines
- University degree in law/economics/other similar
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of customs law (including origin, Incoterms, special customs procedures or/and export control (dual use regulation/classification ecc)
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external network to achieve company goals
- Team player with good communication skills, intercultural competence and compliance mindset
- SAP experience would be an asset
