Role Synopsis:
The Sr. P&C Compliance Executive will ensure end‑to‑end labour law compliance by managing statutory registers, filings, inspector coordination, vendor audits, and regulatory documentation under Central and Maharashtra State labour legislations. The role partners with P&C, Legal, and Workplace teams to enable a fair, safe, and compliant employee experience, while harmonizing practices across entities and locations. This position plays a pivotal role in driving compliance excellence and managing regulatory risks. The role requires flexibility to work across single or multiple concurrent projects/initiatives that may vary in terms of complexity, business impact, geographical spread, and duration

Role Accountabilities:
1. Statutory Compliance Management
- Ensure timely filing of returns and maintenance of statutory registers under various labour laws (e.g., PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops & Establishments Act, Factories Act).
- Monitor changes in labour legislation and update internal policies accordingly
- Maintain and update statutory registers and records as per legal requirements.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and remittances.
2. Audit and Inspection Handling
- Coordinate and manage labour audits conducted by government authorities.
- Prepare documentation and responses for labour inspections and ensure closure of audit observations.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure audit readiness.
- Address and resolve audit observations and non-compliance issues.
3. Vendor and Contractor Compliance
- Ensure third-party vendors and contractors comply with labour laws.
- Review and monitor compliance of third-party vendors and contractors.
- Conduct periodic audits of vendor documentation and agreements.
- Ensure inclusion of labour law clauses in contracts and service agreements.
4. Risk Identification and Mitigation
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain a compliance risk register and escalate issues to senior management as needed.
5. Policy Implementation and Training
- Assist in drafting and implementing labour compliance policies.
- Conduct training sessions for HR and line managers on labour law updates and compliance protocols.
6. Reporting and Documentation
- Generate compliance reports for internal stakeholders and senior management.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all compliance-related activities.
- Oversee of the relevant Legatrix system and data for CIL
- Maintain compliance dashboards and generate periodic reports for leadership.
7. Liaison & Legal Support
- Liaise with labour departments and other regulatory bodies.
- Support legal team in handling labour-related litigation and notices.
8. Liaison with Government Authorities
- Act as a point of contact for labour departments and other regulatory bodies.
- Represent the organization in legal proceedings or hearings related to labour issues.
Education Requirements :
Graduate with post graduate qualification in HR / personnel (optional) - Preferable to have a Law degree

Experience and Job Requirements:
- 5 -7 years of post-qualifications experience.
- Basic knowledge of Employment legislations & experience in handling Employment related litigations.
- Experience of working in a GCC environment will be beneficial
- Demonstrated experience of operating in complex, geographically dispersed, and culturally diverse environments.
