The Logistics Project Manager will support all wells operational activities with logistic support such as: Vessel load out management and optimisation, flight scheduling and closely liaise with service companies to ensure the supply chain is optimized.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation and roll out of a logistic plan / guideline.
- Provide logistics related input in emergency response plans.
- Utilize planning software for transport look ahead and planning. Ensure all required contractors are trained and have access to the software.
- Prepare together with the drilling engineers and relevant service companies the Master Equipment List.
- Ensure all relevant documentation is in place to track equipment from cradle to grave (dispatch, goods received, etc.).
- Prepare work orders for load out / back loads and ensures manifests are in order and traceable.
- Works in close coordination with the well site logistic coordinator to meet the rigs requirements of logistic support and responsible to update the look ahead plan for operations together with the well site logistic coordinator.
- Prepares and tracks logistic KPI's (i.e.: time spent within 500m zone, number of urgent load outs,…).
- responsible for the daily logistic call with the rig.
- The Onshore Logistics Coordinator will have the overall responsibility to coordinate and schedule all Company and third party materials to and from the rig.
- Ensure all equipment is accounted for and has an auditable track record.
- QC of storage conditions of Company Well engineering goods. Closely liase with the QC engineer to optimise inspections prior equipment load outs or once equipment is planned to be returned to the vendors yards (i.e.: for failure analyses).
- Together with the Head of Well Delivery ensure that suitable relevant HSSE bridging documents between Company and Contactors management systems and procedures are in place and properly applied.
- To ensure all logistic (Vessel, road transport, heli flights) operations are conducted in accordance with Romanian legislative requirements and Company HSE Standards Policies and Directives .
- Support audit and verification activities (wetting processes, stock takes, etc.)
- To ensure all contractors providing logistic services and their sub-contractors comply with Company HSE Standards Policies and Directives and participate in investigations, audits, inspections etc as and when necessary and in consultation with the HSEQ manager.
- To facilitate appropriate H&S and Environmental training and development of workover, well intervention and drilling staff.
Requirements:
- Worked for minimum of 3 yrs as a logistic coordinator for drilling operations from floaters, and min. 5 yrs in a logistic function.
- Bachelors Degree in a related subject
- Familiarity with WELLSIT (logistic software) beneficial.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid BOSIET and UKOA offshore medical.
- Good understanding of chemical management requirements.
- Dangerous goods handling training advantageous.
- Good understanding of SAP.
