Job Description:

Responsible for product supply to customers with effectiveness, efficient and accurate without disregard in any safety measurement. This role involves handling all aspects of logistics operations, encompassing warehouse management, product distribution, and export-import activities!

Oversee warehouse operations to ensure inbound and outbound processes meet BP group standards, service levels, and regulatory requirements. Support cost competitiveness initiatives for storage and handling. Plan and handle goods movement across the supply chain, supervise finished goods' flow for distribution, and coordinate with 3PL, transporters, customs brokers, and internal teams for inventory, shipping (domestic and international), and documentation processes.

General Responsibilities

  • The jobholder will handle product supply customers with effectiveness, efficiency and accurateness without disregarding any safety measurement
  • Ensure accuracy of detailed transactions and inventory and ensure both fleet & driver engaged in 3PL transportation is compliance with DSP requirement. To ensure any distribution mode within control including Route Optimization and Cost Management
  • To ensure customer expectation is exceeded and in full on timely delivery are maintain with high accuracy and detail of order delivered
  • Handling of Exim activities within the organization and align with International Trade Regulations
  • Responsible for logistic supplier management, contract compliance and quality assurance. Logistics Data Analysis and Efficiency Improvement. Support in logistics Strategy Development and Implementation

Warehouse

  • Handle 3PL and handle the warehouse operation team operation to ensure productivity and efficiency in a safe manner
  • Monitor and control operational targets to ensure service delivery and efficiency, including stock accuracy and rework/retest status. Conduct periodic reviews of warehouse capacity, handling capability, resource planning, and process effectiveness to maintain optimal operations.
  • Collect and analyze data to seek opportunities of continuous improvement to sustain the service and cost competitiveness. Perform and Coordinate competitiveness initiates to ensure on time transition and excellence in execution.

Distribution

  • Handle all Transportation functions as it relates to carrier selection, carrier contracts and carrier performance and assures timely and cost-effective delivery service levels
  • Uses problem solving and interpersonal skills to resolve issues and disputes with carriers or transporters. Formulates strategies, tactics and action plans to achieve results
  • Develop and handle travel demand models and traffic forecasts, including destination choice, distribution, and integrated land-use or other transport models. Re-engineer existing processes and create new ones to reduce transportation costs and improve efficiency.
  • Recommend detailed proposals to improve customer satisfaction and reduce freight cost
  • Proactively communicate and guide on trends, changes in the transportation industry, or other logistics related factors that may impact the transportation of product
  • Responsible for the efficient loading and unloading of trucks, handling work safety, training, and regulatory compliance.

Export / Import

  • Handle import and export operations to meet targets efficiently. Monitor shipments and customs clearance, communicate status and delays, and resolve issues promptly. Raise to management when needed.
  • Ensure HRA compliance related to all Imports and Exports activities and compliance with COC policies, custom and tax procedures in performing all import and export activities conducted for the organization
  • Handle contracts with customs brokers and freight providers to support cost-saving objectives, including reviewing existing agreements. Oversee all financial duties related to import and export processes responsibly and efficiently.
  • Accurate, detailed and timeouts reporting relevant management information to related partners
  • Maintain Import and Export document files in accordance with government regulations and Company policy.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of custom broker performance and import/export activities and direct other business and program activities that impact import/export compliance

Project Management

  • Support to define in project scope, goals, and results that support business objectives. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the detailed execution of projects.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and raise issues to management as needed. Create and maintain comprehensive and detailed project documentation process.

Summary Decision Rights

  • Handle and ensure all transportation operations are compliance with BP group standard, country and local legal rules and regulations
  • Support and participate in risk assessment, third party logistic partner performance assessment and tender process, provide recommendations, performs and contributes on agreed actions of gap closure / improvement plan as per OMS 3.1 Risk Assessment guideline.
  • Ensure to the compliance HRA regulation in performing their task and able to resolve dispute along the process of import/export and, where possible, resolve and implement process to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure compliance to ITR

Education

  • University degree and equivalent work experience, in an appropriate technical and commercial field.

Experience

  • 5 years working experience in Warehousing, Distribution or Logistic Field
  • Knowledge in Warehouse & Distribution Management. Knowledge of carrier management, Truck Load (TL) and Less-than-Truckload (LTL) operation
  • Understanding budget implications and cost savings initiatives
  • Proficiency of ERP system (JDE, SAP, or Oracle) and MS office
  • Knowledge in project management is advantage

Travel Requirement
Up to 10% travel should be expected with this role
