Job Title: Materials Specialist – SAP MM (Oil & Gas)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Materials Management Specialist to join our team, focusing on the cataloging and management of spare parts and operating supplies within SAP MM modules. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our materials database and supporting project operations in the Oil & Gas sector.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and catalog materials in RSPL (Recommended Spare Parts List) for SAP database integration.
• Assess spare parts capacity and operating supplies requirements for projects.
• Liaise with OPCO to gather material requirements and support the materials team.
• Catalog and prepare spares material database for SAP upload as part of the Spares & Operating Supplies Team (SOST).
• Inspect received warehouse materials to enhance descriptions and update part numbers.
• Review RSPL for procedural accuracy and completeness.
• Research and retrieve missing or incomplete data to meet company standards.
• Improve buying texts during procurement and warehouse inspection stages.
• Cross-check SAP records and inventory to eliminate duplication using SAP search functionalities.
• Update RSPL and Project Material Master Form with detailed technical buying descriptions.
• Comply with all company safety, health, environmental, and security regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• Strong expertise in SAP MM modules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years in materials management, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
