Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Expeditor to join our Materials and Logistics team. The role is key in ensuring that materials and equipment are delivered on time to support ongoing operations. You will work closely with vendors, freight forwarders, internal departments, and regulatory authorities to keep the supply chain running smoothly.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment that requires strong communication, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and expedite material deliveries to ensure timely arrival on site and into stock.

Liaise with inspectors, warehouse teams, and freight forwarders to clear goods and meet delivery schedules.

Coordinate with vendors and end-users to resolve material discrepancies and documentation issues.

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company procedures for the movement of goods.

Track and update delivery status in ERP systems to maintain accurate records.

Verify and process freight invoices in line with financial requirements.

Provide regular updates and reports to management on delivery performance and logistics activity.

Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimise logistics processes.

Adhere to safety, quality, and environmental standards in all expediting activities.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

2–4 years of relevant experience in materials expediting, logistics, or supply chain.

Prior experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred.

Strong knowledge of Incoterms and global trade practices.

Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Office.

Excellent communication, coordination, and analytical skills.

Strong ability to plan, organise, and manage priorities effectively.
