KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR's enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract's original prime contractor. Job Summary
The Logistics, Supervisor (Supply) is responsible for overseeing all Shop Office, Production Control, and Warehousing activities associated with site operations. This role involves providing direction to warehouse foremen and their teams, ensuring timely completion of required reporting and deliverables, and managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of materials necessary for construction and maintenance activities. The Logistics, Supervisor (Supply) also plays a key role in inventory management, quality control, and production data review to optimize operational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Ensure timely completion of required reporting and deliverables.
• Receive, check in, and issue materials to support construction and maintenance activities.
• Plan warehouse layouts and establish document files as needed.
• Prepare required documents and reports related to materials management.
• Maintain accurate inventories and complete necessary records.
• Coordinate the planning, receipt, storage, and issue of all project materials.
• Control project-furnished small tools and third-party rentals.
• Review production data for accuracy and efficiency.
• Consult with senior management as needed to provide status reports and address project discrepancies.
• Monitor production control processes to ensure adherence to established protocols.
• Supervise and review work activities for accuracy and effectiveness within the function.
• Perform complex assignments and fulfill broad responsibilities with defined outcomes.
• Coordinate work assignments and assist less experienced team members as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
• Must be able to pass a U.S. Government background investigation and obtain a NACI. Due to this, you must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Green Card holder who has lived within the United States for at least the last 3 years to be eligible for this position.
• Must have an Associate's Degree and at least 8 years of experience in materials management or related field. A High School Diploma or equivalent and an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
• Prior experience in supervisory or leadership roles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to materials handling.
