As a Medical Supply Supervisor, you will oversee the procurement, storage, distribution, and accountability of Class VIII medical supplies and equipment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains accurate inventory, and supports clinical operations by providing timely and efficient supply chain management.

Job Summary
As a Medical Supply Supervisor, you will oversee the procurement, storage, distribution, and accountability of Class VIII medical supplies and equipment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory standards, maintains accurate inventory, and supports clinical operations by providing timely and efficient supply chain management.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise staff in medical supply operations.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of Class VIII supplies.
- Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to prevent shortages or overstocking.
- Implement inventory control systems and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Coordinate requisition, receipt, and distribution of medical supplies.
- Ensure timely delivery to clinical and administrative departments.
- Enforce aseptic techniques and sterilization standards.
- Monitor performance and ensure adherence to SOPs and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with Army Medical Supply Standards and regulatory guidelines
- Train staff on proper handling, sterilization, and inventory procedures.
- Prepare and submit reports on stock levels, usage trends, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate documentation for audits and inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in logistics, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum 3 years in medical logistics or supply chain and at least 1 year in a supervisory role; prior contracting experience highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Class VIII materiel and Army contracting requirements.
- Familiarity with Army Information Systems (AIS) utilized for Class VIII.
- Strong organizational and compliance management skills.
- Familiarity with FAR/DFARS regulations a plus.
- Must currently have or possess the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.
