General Description of the Role
Global IT Product Owner - Customer Service, Logistics & Procurement, reporting to the Global IT Manager Business Partner Supply Chain, is a member of the Global IT Team dedicated to the Supply Chain functional area. As a key member of the Global IT Supply Chain team, the Product Owner plays a pivotal role in bridging business needs with technological solutions. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing business critical applications within the domains of Logistics, Customer Service, and Procurement, ensuring application stability, performance, and continuous improvement, while aligning with business needs and IT governance standards.
This role involves close collaboration with global, regional, and local stakeholders to ensure that IT initiatives align with business goals, deliver measurable value, and foster innovation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES
Application Management & Adoption
- Oversee the lifecycle of global applications in Logistics, Customer Service, and Procurement areas.
- Ensure system availability, reliability and business adoption.
Continuous Improvement & Projects
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and system evolutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Leads IT projects related to application's global rollout, upgrades, integrations, and migrations.
Governance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate documentation of application architecture, configurations, and procedures.
- Develops governance processes and best practice and ensure compliance among business stakeholders.
Service Management:
- Coordinate incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Manage vendor relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
Skills & Competencies
Technical & Functional Expertise
- Project Management - Ability to manage technical tasks within complex projects (Agile or Waterfall).
- Business Acumen - Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes (Logistics, Customer Service, Procurement) is essential.
- Proven experience in Application Management and Service Management roles.
- Familiarity with TMS systems (Tesi/Transporeon, others...), Procurement Tools (COUPA, others...) and SAP CX is considered advantageous.
- SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain - understanding of SAP modules (SD, MM, LE, TM, CS) is considered a plus, as well as other SAP suites knowledge (e.g. SAP CX) and adoption of Fiori Apps.
- Familiarity with Integration platforms and middleware solutions is beneficial.
- Experience in applying ITIL framework and AGILE methodologies is a strong plus.

- Problem Solving - Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions quickly
- Cross-functional Collaboration - Demonstrated experience working in matrix organizations and across diverse cultural environments
Languages
- Fluent English - Required for global collaboration
- Italian - Preferred for local engagement
- Third European language - A plus for broader communication
Education & Experience
- 5+ years in similar roles within multinational or consulting environments, preferably in Customer Service and Logistics or Procurement areas
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
- International experience and a global mindset are essential
- Certifications such as ITIL v4, Agile are considered advantageous
Additional Requirements
- Availability to travel internationally up to 20% of time
