Your role and responsibilities
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Distribution Solutions division in China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- System Support & Optimization: Serve as Key User for SAP MM (Material Management) module and WMS, responsible for daily system operations and user support. Respond promptly and resolve system operation issues in receiving, putaway, picking, outbound, cycle counting, packing, and shipping processes. Lead logistics-related system requirements gathering, collect, analyze and refine system requirements based on business scenarios. Conduct feasibility assessments with IT consultants, drive system function upgrades, modifications, acceptance testing (UAT), go-live and user feedback tracking
- Process Standardization & Documentation Management: Develop and optimize standardized operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes . Write system operation manuals, FAQs, training materials. Ensure and monitor accurate, real-time flow of logistics data in the system. Data Management & Analysis: Responsible for maintenance of logistics-related master data (materials, vendors, storage locations, etc.) in the system. Conduct regular data cleansing and obsolete data processing. Manage user access review and authorization assignment. Identify business issues through data analysis, report and support
- Training & Capability Building: Develop system operation training plans and conduct SAP and WMS training for new employees and skill enhancement training for existing employees. Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Support: Collaborate with related departments to resolve system-related issues in cross-functional logistics operations. Ensure smooth operation of the entire logistics chain, participate in company inventory management and system support. System implementation work for projects such as external warehouse leasing
- Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Identify improvement opportunities and practice lean logistics and operational excellence. Participate in logistics and packaging improvement projects, evaluate and drive CCRP (Customer Complaint) reduction and process optimization. Participate in project packaging and transportation solution design, promote engineering design optimization for packaging
Qualifications for the role
- Education Background: Bachelor's degree or above. Preferred majors: Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Management and Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields. SAP certification is a plus
- Work Experience: 3+ years of logistics-related work experience. At least 2 years of Key User experience with SAP MM module and WMS. Experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics process optimization. Preferred: Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution logistics operation models. Preferred: Experience in ERP system implementation
- Professional Skills: Proficient in SAP MM module and proficient in WMS systems. System requirements analysis: capability in requirements gathering, process optimization, and business testing. Documentation: able to independently write requirements documents, training materials, SOPs, user manuals, etc. Good English reading and writing skills, able to read English technical documentation. Data analysis: proficient in Excel; familiarity with analysis and report development.
- Key Competencies: Strong cross-functional communication skills, able to efficiently interface with business departments, IT and consultants. Clear logical thinking, able to quickly identify root causes and propose effective solutions. Project management capability, able to independently or collaboratively complete system optimization projects. Detail-oriented with strong sense of responsibility and risk prevention awareness. Quick learner of new systems and technologies, able to adapt to business changes and system upgrades. Able to work efficiently under pressure, handle urgent issues and meet project deadlines. Continuous improvement mindset, proactively identify issues and drive process optimization and efficiency improvement
