JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently recruiting for PMC Logistics Lead role to support our ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Due to the nature of the projects and client expectation, the position will be based at our client office with a possibility to move to offshore rotation in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The Role

The Logistics Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all logistics activities for the ADNOC Offshore project on behalf of ADNOC as PMC. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between fabrication yards, ports, and offshore sites in compliance with ADNOC standards, HSE requirements, and project schedules.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Logistics Planning & Management
  • Develop and implement the Project Logistics Execution Plan (PLEP) for offshore and onshore logistics.
  • Coordinate marine logistics including vessels, barges, PSV, AHTS, crew boats, and heavy-lift transportation.
  • Plan and manage material flow from vendors, fabrication yards, ports, and offshore locations.
  • Ensure alignment of logistics activities with project schedule, construction sequence, and offshore campaigns.

PMC Oversight & Contractor Management
  • Review and approve EPC Contractors' logistics plans, procedures, and schedules.
  • Monitor contractor logistics performance and ensure compliance with ADNOC specifications and contractual requirements.
  • Interface with EPC Contractors, marine service providers, port authorities, and ADNOC Operations.
  • Resolve logistics-related issues, bottlenecks, and constraints impacting offshore execution.

Marine & Offshore Operations
  • Coordinate load-out, sea fastening, transportation, and offshore installation support activities.
  • Ensure availability and readiness of marine spreads for offshore campaigns.
  • Review and endorse marine assurance documentation including vessel suitability, certifications, and audits.
  • Support SIMOPS planning and execution offshore.

Materials & Warehousing
  • Oversee materials management, storage, preservation, and tracking systems.
  • Ensure proper handling of critical and long-lead items.
  • Monitor laydown areas, yards, and offshore storage facilities.

HSE & Compliance
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with ADNOC HSE MS, marine safety standards, and offshore regulations.
  • Promote safe logistics practices and participate in risk assessments, JSA, and marine assurance reviews.
  • Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

Cost, Reporting & Interfaces
  • Monitor logistics costs and support cost control initiatives.
  • Prepare logistics progress reports, KPIs, and dashboards for ADNOC and PMC management.
  • Interface closely with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.

Expected
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification in logistics or supply chain management is an advantage.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of experience in logistics management for offshore oil & gas projects.
  • Strong experience in PMC or EPC roles on major offshore developments.
  • Proven ADNOC Offshore project experience (preferred).
  • Extensive experience with marine logistics, offshore campaigns, and heavy-lift operations
