Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Development Engineer for Motion High Power Division to act as a doer and a developer in stock-taking and reclamation processes. In this role, you will be responsible for stock taking process and stock accuracy. In addition, you are also involved with reclamation process as a part of a team. The role consists of both operational and development aspects. You will showcase your expertise for process streamlining and quality control -related development steps.

The most important stakeholders are third-party logistics, sourcing, and product engineering & quality.

The position is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, Finland.

Your responsibilities

• Daily follow-up and actions of stock taking process and ensuring stock accuracy
• Developing, implementing and monitoring process KPIs
• Operations regarding non-conforming materials in terms of information, material and cash flows
• Developing and implementing supporting reports and tools to both non-conforming and stock taking processes
• Supporting supplier quality related development initiatives
• Coordinating actions between third-party logistics, purchasing, product engineering & quality and sourcing
• Continuous improvement of processes

Your background

• A few years' experience related to non-conforming material process flows and / or logistics is essential
• You possess knowledge of quality management and processes (e.g. Lean Six Sigma, 8D, Kaizen)
• Established skills in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) are required
• Proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving is essential
• You are fluent in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering or a suitable commercial education
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes is considered an asset
• Proficiency in advanced MS Office Tools (PowerBI, Power Automate, Sharepoint etc.) is a plus
• Experience in ERP systems (SAP) is an asset
