Job Purpose
OneSupply Oman is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to ensure the accuracy and
integrity of all asset and inventory data across multiple yard operations.
The role is responsible for managing SAP inventory and Material Master data, ensuring all physical material
movements are accurately reflected in the system. The Inventory Manager supports asset valuation, repair
and repurposing processes, and yard occupancy planning, while providing reliable data to enable effective
sales and value recovery decisions.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
The Inventory Manager is accountable for managing and providing accurate, real-time inventory data that
underpins all operational and commercial decisions, and for developing the tools necessary to assess and
maximize the asset value.
- Ensuring complete accuracy, consistency, and traceability across all managed yards.
- Maintain the SAP inventory and Material Master records, ensuring all material movements,
transactions, and adjustments are timely, accurate, and fully compliant with company procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliations between physical and system records, identifying and
resolving discrepancies to maintain data integrity and audit readiness.
- Oversee the classification and codification of materials to support effective segregation, valuation,
and sale preparation activities.
- Own and manage the full lifecycle of all SAP Material Master data specific to scrap and surplus
assets.
- Ensure materials are correctly classified, valued, and described to facilitate accurate inventory
records and sales transactions.
- Serve as the authority for all SAP inventory transactions (Goods Receipts, Goods Issues, Stock
Transfers, Adjustments, etc.) across all yards, ensuring strict compliance with EDO financial and
auditing standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure all established SAP processes are audit-ready
and comply with corporate financial policies and external regulations, maintaining high governance
(approvals) standards for all inventory movements.
- Develop, implement, and maintain material valuation tool and guidelines. This tool must provide a
standardized methodology for assessing fair market value, and reserved sales value on selected
inventories (e.g. high value assets).
- Own Repair and Repurposing process, tracking the movement of material from initial receipt
through segregations/ inspection, refurbishment (on-site or off-site), and re-classification and
valuation in SAP for high-value resale.
- Develop and schedule the yard surveillance activity plans, ensuring all yards are visited frequently to
prepare assets for sale, verify sites security, assess material condition, and reconcile physical checks
against SAP records.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Operations Management.
- Certification in CIPS, a plus.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or materials control in a
large-scale industrial environment.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on, expert experience managing SAP Inventory Management and
Material Master data, and SAP Sales & Distribution module.
- Previous experience in the role responsible for managing asset classification and implementing
repairs or reuse processes is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in the Oil & Gas or heavy industrial/metals sector is a significant advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
