About the Role
As a Logistics Coordinator within the Supply Chain Department, you play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement, transport, and delivery of equipment and materials in line with project schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
You will manage the inbound and outbound flow of goods supporting both domestic and international projects. This includes coordinating transportation, monitoring delivery schedules, handling shipping documentation, and ensuring compliance with customs and safety regulations. Working closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders, you help ensure cost-effective and reliable logistics operations that directly support successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate transportation and timely delivery of materials in line with project and customer requirements
- Issue shipping instructions and communicate with carriers and freight forwarders
- Coordinate with internal teams (Aftermarket, Warehouse, and others) to ensure accurate and on-time order fulfillment
- Address order delays, shipping issues, damage, improper packaging, and quality concerns
- Monitor delivery performance and escalate unresolved issues to the line manager when necessary
- Manage imports, exports, and domestic shipments in compliance with NOV policies and international trade regulations
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- Prepare, compare, and evaluate freight quotations from appointed forwarders
- Support budgeting and cost control of transport activities
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department
- Carry out all duties in accordance with Quality Assurance procedures and work instructions
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and proactively report safety hazards
- Participate in required training activities
Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications
- Secondary vocational education (Dutch MBO) in Logistics or equivalent level gained through experience
- Approximately 5 years of relevant work experience in logistics or supply chain
- Good command of English (written and spoken)
- Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Oracle)
- Strong understanding of import/export processes and international trade regulations
