Sourcing Lead - Logistics

In this role You will:

• Manage the end-to-end sourcing process including market analysis, supplier identification, RFP development, negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Conduct complex negotiations with logistics suppliers ensuring favorable terms, conditions and pricing while maintaining strong supplier relationships.
• Develop and implement robust contract management processes including contract creation, handover and ongoing performance monitoring.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal collaborators to understand their logistics requirements and ensure sourcing solutions meet their needs.
• Drive continuous improvement in logistics sourcing through the application of agility core practices and tools.
• Evaluate and select new suppliers based on rigorous criteria including capability, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to BP's standards.
• Apply analytical thinking to find opportunities for cost savings, efficiency gains and risk mitigation within the logistics supply chain.
• Demonstrate strong business insight in understanding the broader impact of logistics sourcing decisions on the company's financial performance and operational excellence
• Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks related to logistics.

What You need to be successful:

• Solid experience in a senior sourcing or procurement role and also some years' experience specifically within logistics.
• Fluency in English
• Demonstrated expertise in Agreements and negotiations including advanced negotiating techniques and comprehensive negotiation planning and preparation.
• Strong understanding and practical application of Sourcing strategy development and implementation.
• Demonstrated Partner Management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across various levels of the organization.
• Extensive experience in Contract Creation, Contract handover and implementation and ongoing Contract Management.
• Proven Business Insight with an understanding of financial implications and operational drivers.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
