This position will be responsible for the logistical planning, coordination and allocation of GFE and other hardware A/R in support of KBR HELO Operations.
Tasks associated with this position include but are not limited to hardware manifesting, allocation, tracking, forecast/planning and status reporting on Mission specific, and associated hardware and processes, as well as Company related tasks (other contracts ). Requires skills to lead coordination with the internal team, external partners, customers up to Executive Level Management .
Performs hardware logistics/scheduling impact assessments and develops, maintains and presents delivery and maintenance and operations schedules for the critical deliverables. Assesses inventory allocation, limited life constraints and manifest requirements to identify and address issues. Liaison and integrator who coordinates and/or provides assistance to appropriate organizations for expeditious resolution of work schedule, maintenance and operations discrepancies, and work stoppages. Will support other tasks as assigned.
Essential Duties:
The applicant must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with all levels of internal and external management to ensure effective exchange of critical information.
The applicant must effectively prepare and present detailed presentations on technical content.
The applicant must have good interpersonal, technical, organizational and planning skills, in order to understand and communicate support technical requirements.
The applicant must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Project (or other scheduling tools), and Outlook.
The applicant must be able to manage multiple priorities and workflow.
The applicant must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate with technical professionals, at all levels.
The applicant must demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
The applicant must be self-motivated, able to work as a team member, and able to be successful even when forced to make unpopular decisions or requests.
The applicant must be able to effectively work with constant priority changes.
Education/Qualifications Required:
Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience.
Minimum 2 years of relatable work experience preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: The applicant must be able to work as a team member, ability to communicate effectively with customers and external partners, and be successful even when forced to make unpopular decisions or requests.
Experienced with logistics, planning, and scheduling.
Experience working with NASA technical documentation is strongly preferred.
Required Areas of Expertise and Level of Competence: Excellent written and oral presentation skills to communicate effectively with small and large groups across all levels of staff and management.
