Nomad's Supply Chain 24-26 Strat Plan sets out the ambition to streamline operations; reducing the number of distribution centres by 15% and the number of co-manufacturing facilities by 50%. The strategy aims to accelerate productivity from 1.9% to 2.4% of COGS, improve working capital - all whilst continuing to improve service levels.

This role is responsible for providing Project Management for a selection of Supply Chain Transformation projects to support this overarching strategy. The projects in scope from this role will be from the following programmes:
  1. Raw Materials Productivity Programme (Fuel 4 Growth and Strategic Purchases)
  2. Logistics Transformation Programme
  3. Insourcing Programme
  4. Supply Chain Transformation Programme
  5. Or other strategic priorities in Supply Chain

Responsibilities

The role does this by:
  1. Managing delivery milestones and governance for assigned projects. This includes creating and maintaining detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with agreed timelines, and tracking progress against baselines.
  2. Maintaining accurate project documentation such as RAID logs, governance documents (Charter, Contract, LP), and status reports. The PM ensures these are kept current and accessible to stakeholders.
  3. Facilitating governance routines and reporting by coordinating inputs for stage gate submissions, preparing updates for programme dashboards, and supporting benefit tracking and closure activities.
  4. Tracking risks, issues, and dependencies across projects, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation. The PM will work closely with Project Leads and Sponsors to resolve blockers and maintain delivery momentum.
  5. Driving compliance with stage gate processes by prompting completion of required documentation and supporting teams in understanding governance requirements and tools.
  6. Coordinating cross-functional activities to keep projects on track, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on deliverables, timelines, and responsibilities.
  7. Providing structure and discipline to project delivery without driving content or decisions. The PM supports Project Leads in execution while respecting their ownership of scope, benefits, and direction.
  8. Flexing across multiple programmes as needed, adapting to shifting priorities and supporting emerging strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain Transformation agenda.
